Offshore Yachts are Fishing Machines!!

Calling all anglers!! Did you know that Offshore Yachts are Fishing Machines? Many of our Offshore owner’s love to fish and have great success in many different bodies of water: The Great Northwest, Baja California, South America, Gulf Coast, Florida (both coasts), and the East Coast.

The Offshore line of yachts have proven themselves to be an excellent fishing platform. Their low center of gravity offers amazing stability while casting on a patty or fighting Marlin off the coast of Mexico. Getting to the fishing grounds doesn’t need to be a rocket ship ride, frozen on the flybridge. Sit back in your shorts in the Pilothouse, music playing in the background and sipping on your favorite beverage. Stay out longer, more comfortable and refreshed when you arrive at the school of Bluefin. No need to slide down the dew-covered ladder with frozen hands at grey light when you can walk from the Pilothouse to the standard aft station. When you fill your fish boxes for the day and head back into the local anchorage, having a home like platform can’t be beat! Throw together some ceviche or sashimi in your salon level galley as you exchange stories from the days adventures. Having forward windows bring in lots of natural light and having opening windows and doors allows you truly get to enjoy being part of your surroundings. Time for a good night sleep and then as you head out again the next morning at dark, you can pull anchor and head out in you PJs again from the warmth & comfort of your Pilothouse. Guests can come up at their leisure and join you without throwing on foul weather gear and risking life and limb climbing up from the cockpit. If you do want to experience how the other half lives, you can take the easy stairs to your flybridge and once the chill sets in you can easily head back down to the comfort of the indoors. Will you catch more fish?… who knows, but you’ll be a lot more comfortable when you do!

And what to do with all that fresh wild caught fish? Use your favorite recipes of course…sushi, ceviche, poke, marinated, grilled, seared, smoked, tapenade, taco’s, fish-n-chips, casserole, tuna salad, tuna melt, chowder soup…The possibilities are endless!!!
